For local businesses
Your own app, with your name on it
An app with your name on it, for whatever your business needs: bookings, quotes, customer accounts or a tool for your team. Built and looked after for you by Split Decision, who make Rochester Insider.
What it can do
Pick what you need. Every app is built around how your business already works.
Bookings and enquiries
Let customers book, ask for a quote or get in touch from their phone, in a few taps.
Quotes and calculators
Turn the way you price a job into a tool your customers or your team can use: estimates, quotes, takeoffs or payment calculators.
Customer accounts
A place for your customers to see their bookings, their documents or the progress of their job.
Tools for your team
Replace the spreadsheet, paper form or group chat your staff rely on with an app built around how you work.
Offers and messages
Keep in touch with regular customers: offers, reminders and messages straight to their phone.
In the app stores, or no download at all
In the App Store and Google Play under your own business name, or as a web app customers add to their home screen with no download.

Questions
How much does an app cost?
Apps start from £3,500. The price depends on what it needs to do, and you get a fixed quote with the brief before any work starts. Hosting and updates are a monthly plan, quoted at the same time.
How long does it take?
It depends on what the app needs to do. You get a timeline with the brief, before you commit to anything.
Will it be in the App Store?
Yes, if you want it there. It is published under your business's own developer account, which we set up with you. Apple charges a yearly fee for the account and Google a one-off fee. If you would rather skip the stores, a web app works on any phone with no download.
Can it connect to the systems I already use?
Often, depending on the system. Tell us what you use and we will check before we quote.
Do I need a featured page as well?
No, but they work well together: your featured page on Rochester Insider can send people straight to your app.
